Well, with a line-up straight out of Indiecult’s dream festival almanac, the line up for the third Venn Festival in Bristol can be seen below. Featuring over 200 musicians over 3 nights, the genre-defying, venue straddling menu includes an opening triple bill of Vashti Bunyan, Richter and Crescent and Saturday’s 16 hour plus all dayer includes Ariel Pink’s parallel pop universe and Kode 9’s dark, dangerous and utterly compelling dubstep.

Oh yes, there are workshops (last year was make your own Theremin!), a demo clash and an improvised bring your own instrument jam to the great space preacher Sun Ra. Its £33 for the whole shebang or you can visit individual events seperately. Is that the sound of your wallet/ purse creaking open…?
