The Juno Awards are Canada’s answer to the Grammy’s. The Arcade Fire were given the Songwriter or the Year award in recognition of three songs off of Funeral: “Wake Up”, “Rebellion (Lies)” and “Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)”. Congratulations are definitely in order. Although the validity of an award becomes questionable when it gives Single of the Year, Album of the Year, and Pop Album of the year to Michael Bublé. Oh Canada.
