Austin based ghost folk group Peter and the Wolf is planning to tour this summer. Not such an unorthodox idea. Why has this particular tour caught so much attention? Travel for part of the tour will be by boat. The boat is being piloted by a patch wearing radio DJ. The Tripwire, MTV and even ABC News have all run stories on Peter and the Wolf’s tour. Red Hunter, frontman of the group, seems tickled by the all the publicity the boat tour has generated: “When ABC asked me if it was a statement about the current economy (desperately looking for a sound byte that, due to my carrying a copy of Manufacturing Consent everywhere I go, I unfortunately couldn’t give them) I replied, “Yes, and that statement is ADVENTURE.”
