Your comment about it having a plot that has been done to death in the Sci-Fi world was correct to a point that I didn't want to watch the following volumes. But from what you have written I am lead to believe that it becomes a whole lot better. Because of your review on this series, I am going to watch it again. Thankyou for this insightful synopsis.
